The ideal candidate is expected to demonstrate an understanding of the Federal and state taxation of Partnerships.Essential FunctionsFiles federal and state income tax returns for 25+ real estate holding LLC s/LP s.Prepares nonresident withholding schedules and determines tax liability for members.Prepares quarterly income tax estimates and the related remittance vouchers.Researches legislative materials to identify new filing obligations and compliance exposure.Responds and resolves tax notices and/or information requests from tax authorities.Analyzes general ledger details to ensure proper classification of posted transactions.Maintains adequate records and workpapers supporting tax positions.Maintains and updates fixed assets and related reconciliations/rollforwards.Prepares apportionment schedules for multi-state filing entities.Please note this job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive list of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
