Senior Systems Engineer El Segundo/Los Angeles, CA - (Hybrid)
Description: Apply to join the Positioning, Navigation, and Timing
(PNT) Enterprise Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) team.
SE&I provides engineering, integration, technical analysis, and
subject matter expertise support to the US Space Force and
Department of Defense (DoD) agencies. As a member of our PNT
SE&I team, you’ll work in a fast-paced environment with
government personnel and system developers to ensure that Global
Positioning System (GPS) remains the gold standard for positioning,
navigation, and timing. A successful candidate will collaborate and
communicate with the SE&I leadership team to ensure processes
and products are delivered with quality and professionalism. Duties
Provide technical expertise and systems integration support to
ensure an optimal integrated GPS System design Contribute to the
overarching approach and processes for integrating, synchronizing,
tracking and analyzing dependencies across programmatic and
organizational boundaries Develop engineering and data models and
populate them with up-to-date information to enable automated
integration analyses Provide technical support for test activities
that characterize system performance Perform and present data
analysis that drive decisions on government programs Support GPS
Enterprise Risk & Opportunities management Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, mathematics, physics or
equivalent technical discipline and nine (9) years of systems
integration and systems engineering related or equivalent
experience Active Secret Clearance Experience working across space,
ground, and user segment organizations to coordinate and identify
system requirements and key performance parameters to ensure
end-to-end mission performance requirements are met Experience with
system architecture development Strong interpersonal skills to
enable working, interfacing, and interrelating with diverse
personnel and dynamic teams Must be able to work well in multi-team
setting, and willing to take on additional technical and
administrative tasks/duties as needed Space vehicle as well as
other GPS related experience Desired Active Top Secret/SCI Security
Clearance Experience and familiarity working with DoD acquisition
organizations
