We believe in creative thinking and collaboration to help build a better mobility experience for everyone, improving people's ability to move - whether for work or play.What we do: The Test & Evaluation Labs Manager is responsible for the execution of the ground-based test resources needed to develop Supernal's EVTOL air vehicles. The role is in charge of the test assets, human resources, and processes and procedures. The Manager will work closely with the air vehicle engineering team to ensure safe and efficient testing.What you can do:

• Establish procedures for execution of ground-based testing in collaboration with T&E, Engineering, and Research & Development teams
• Develop a test engineering and technician staff
• Support the creation of a company Quality Management System and ensure labs have adequate procedures and training to ensure testing is accomplished in accordance with the QMS
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to the engineering labs team working on the development & certification of autonomous, passenger carrying, eVTOL aircraft
• Supervise work product by monitoring progress, providing technical direction, and problem-solving solutions
• Lead the coordination of initial requirements, build, and sustainment of labs and ground test assets
• Lead ground test program execution at the main Supernal facilities as well as offsite locations
• Support strategic decisions to outsource particular ground test and provide oversight for said testing
• Mentor staff in all aspects of Engineering career development
• Build elite engineering labs and ensure high levels of availability
• Supervise team members providing goals, feedback and recognition and developing bench strength through career planning and progression
• Actively demonstrate Performance Management of resources to optimize skills and capabilities
• Support new business initiatives though execution of special projects as needed to support the engineering team
• Support the advancement of the product development process by providing technical support, developing lab tools and infrastructure, facilitating learning and continuity across teams
• Other duties as assignedWhat you can contribute:
  • B.S minimum in the areas of Aerospace/Aeronautical, Mechanical, Systems, or Industrial Engineering or other related fields
  • 5+ years in systems design, development, integration, and civil certification (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
  • 2+ years of experience inspiring and leading technical teams
  • Experience in handling complex projects across multi-discipline teams
  • Demonstrated excellence across a diverse set of Engineering domains, to include requirements new business/concept development, requirements development/allocation, system design and analysis, integration and test, anomaly resolution/root cause investigations, and lab management
  • Critical thinker, adept at relationship building and leading through influence
  • Experience with AS 9100 accreditation preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proactive delivery of communication and follow up
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Must have the ability to independently prioritize and accomplish work within time constraints
  • Self-motivated and forward-thinking personality
  • Proficiency with Excel MS Office SuiteYou may also be able to contribute:
