Key Responsibilities Lead and manage day-to-day laboratory operations across multiple departments. Oversee staffing, workflow, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance (CLIA, CAP, TJC, AABB, DHS). Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality, efficiency, and turnaround time. Manage departmental budgets, resource allocation, and cost containment strategies. Serve as the primary liaison to hospital leadership, physicians, and external partners. Motivate, mentor, and develop laboratory staff to achieve professional excellence. Prepare for and lead successful regulatory inspections and accreditations. Ensure alignment with the hospital s mission of delivering quality care with compassion and respect. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Medical Technology or related biological science required. Current state Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) license and ASCP certification required. Minimum 5 years of laboratory supervisory or management experience. Proven leadership, organization, and communication skills. Deep understanding of laboratory regulatory standards and inspection readiness.
