Housekeeping and Room Attendant Personnel to join our team. In this position, you will: Perform a combination of tasks, which maintain hotel premises in a clean and orderly manner, there by contributing to a pleasant, positive guest experience. Essential Responsibilities: Cleans rooms. Moves and arranges furniture. Turns mattresses, hang draperies as required. Dusts furniture and equipment; polishes metalwork and furniture. Collects linens for laundering and receives/stores linen supplies. Cleans bathrooms and replenishes with supplies. Refurnishes room with supplies, towels, etc. as required. Supplies own cleaning cart with appropriate supplies for shift. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies, using vacuum cleaner To qualify for this position, you will need to have: Prior housekeeping experience Excellent customer service skills Ability to work as part of a team! Ability to use hands to lift, carry or pull objects that may be heavy. Understand simple instructions. Learn simple procedures and techniques. Perform routine work or the same task over and over again. Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently Work evening and over time as needed.
