The-- -Onboarding Specialist-- -ensures that all applicants have
successfully completed the pre-employment onboarding process;
resulting in the issuance of an employee EID (employee id number).
Also responsible for ensuring that internal transfers complete the
onboarding requirements for successfully transferring to a new
position and/or location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Handles incoming
calls relating to the onboarding processInitiates and makes
outbound calls to applicants relating to onboarding process and/or
documents received while keeping close contact with applicants
onboardingProcess and quality check employment eligibility
verification through Form I-9 and/or E-verify and file
accordinglyVerify applicant successfully completed the
pre-employment drug screen; follows up with the applicant as
neededVerify applicant successfully completed the pre-employment
background check; follows up with applicant as neededProcess
completed applicant(s) within system requirementsProcess and verify
applicant successfully is associated through vendor agenciesProcess
non-completed/disqualified applicant(s) within system
requirementsFollow up with applicant(s) to complete onboarding
processProcess and quality check received employment eligibility
documents and required identification formsSet up personnel file,
scan and drop accordingly to file REQUIREMENTS: Minimum 6 months to
1 year experience in onboarding- In home care experience preferred
but not requiredBA degree preferredThis position will require a
valid California ID or Driver--------s LicenseCandidate must
successfully pass all pre-employment requirements, including but
not limited to background check, physical etc.If required to drive,
candidate must possess proof of valid insurance and
registrationMust be at least 21 years of age to drive for People's
