Join us as we continue build a culture of commitment, communication, and collaboration.We are seeking a driven candidate to join the River City Mortgage family as a Mortgage Loan Officer in our Chino Hills, CA office.A day in the life of a Mortgage Loan Officer:Review documentation for completeness and accuracy, including income, assets, disclosures, title documentation, credit reports, and other necessary documentation for loan processing.Collect financial information (taxes, debts, etc.).Evaluate creditworthiness and eligibility for obtaining a mortgage loan.Guide customers through mortgage loan options.Prepare and submit mortgage loan applications.Ensure data is in scope with national and local financial rules.Monitor and report on application processes.Inform customers about loan approval or rejection.Help resolve issues with applications.Research new mortgage loan policies.Ensure compliance with privacy laws and confidentiality policies throughout the process.Build a supportive referral network with customers, lenders, real estate agents.Core Competencies:Think Strategically: Maintain a long-term, big picture view and implement strategy effectively.Cultivate Innovation: Model the creativity and innovative business model to create new and revolutionary solutions to grow the business.Drive for Excellence: Ensure high levels of performance in self and others.Focus on the Customer: Make customers feel valued by delivering on commitments and exceeding expectations.Lead by Example: Promote values by demonstrating optimism and the highest standards of integrity and ethics.Build Collaborative Relationships: Encourage teamwork and partnerships throughout the company.Develop Others: Create a work environment that inspires people to be motivated, engaged and productive.Success Requirements:Active NMLS licenseExperience as a mortgage loan originator or in a similar rolePrevious experience in sales or customer support is an assetWorking knowledge of mortgage loan computer software (Calyx Point)Ability to handle confidential informationGreat mathematical and analytical skillsAttention to detailJob Type: Full-timeCompensation: $100,000 - $250,000/year commission structureCompany Benefits and Perks: We work hard to embrace an inclusive culture and encourage everyone at River City Mortgage to bring their authentic selves to work every day.
