• The Logistics Supervisor will assist Manager to ensure shipments in or out of TP-Link are handled quickly, safely, timely, and within budget constraints.
• Developing, maintaining, updating scalable data infrastructure of reports from multiple sources internal and external.
• Collaborating with sales, operations, warehouse, and transportation teams to improve areas such as performance, cost, quality, and efficiency.
• Audit and research service performance issues and develop recommendations for improvements with internal processes and or carriers.
• Support analyzing logistic costs in accordance with our budget.
• Work closely with the operations team to create processes that will optimize efficiency, productivity, and workflow processes associated with the day-to-day operations.
• Research and resolve customer problems and complaints to include, identifying and improving service-related issues, on-time delivery, and accurate timely data entry
• Maintain Scoreboard for On-time, in full delivery to retailers.
• Daily responsibility of consolidating large data in Microsoft Excel Reports.
• Apply broad knowledge of supply chain when problem-solving, ability to think and respond quickly, and adjust schedules, operating plans in response to unplanned events, may have to adapt negotiation strategies to cope with new circumstances or issues that arise, to include dealing with transportation-related challenges
• Weekly research analysis on carrier and customer claims and submit disputes as necessary.
• Assist with finding and eliminating inefficiencies within the Transportation Team.
• Effective and ongoing communication with all levels of employees and management
• Performs other duties as required RequirementsKey Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in related field or position preferably with experience in Transportation Software Systems.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, skills.
  • Ability to express self well both orally and written.
  • Track record meeting shipment deliveries on time.
  • Shipping Rules and Regulations Agile
  • Microsoft Word, Strong Excel (V-Lookup, Pivot, Formulae)
  • Experience in carrier specification and selection.
  • Problem-solving and complex decision-making.
  • Strong team building and mentoring skills
  • Experience shipping to Big Box Retailers (such as Target, Walmart, Costco, BestBuy, etc).
  • Familiar with Core Regional LTL carriers.
