We seek a Director of Sales professional to manage and oversee our sales operations. Our ideal candidate will have experience working as a Sales Manager or Sales Administrator. We seek a team member ready to rally the troops and provide sales guidance and operational support to manage our dynamic department. Our sales team is outstanding and keeps the engineering and production teams jumping.

The director will initiate and design plans to meet targets, develop customer relationships, and evaluate costs for selling products and services. You are responsible for team morale, energy, and activity as the team leader.

Responsible for leading all business-related negotiations with the customer and fully understanding the customer's business challenges, culture, and environment, specifically future technology, competition, and partners that may affect our business growth.

Responsibilities:
The Director of Sales, or Sales Director, will manage and oversee the sales operations. Main duties include:
--- Designing plans to meet sales targets by utilizing a sales playbook.
--- Developing and cultivating relationships with customers.
--- Monitoring and reporting on sales analytics.
--- Coaching, developing, and maintaining a sales training program for the sales team.
--- Partnering with sales experience, purchasing, production, and IPS teams.
--- Evaluating, recruiting, and hiring sales professionals.
--- Evaluating costs to determine their products' pricing when selling to customers.

Other Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: -
--- Manage sales team and representative sales force to optimize sales in multiple territories. -
--- Manage the flow of quotes and analytics. -
--- Continual team building practices.
--- Create accurate project work orders, including materials and customer specifications.
--- Prioritizing daily team huddles
--- One-to-one meetings with team on regular basis
--- Actively involved in squads making them a priority in seeking customer satisfaction, product ideation, and future sales development.
--- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Language Ability:
--- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret standard scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.

--- The successful candidate should be able to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to the prescribed style and format.

Math Ability:
--- Be able to apply advanced mathematical concepts and be able to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as frequency distribution, determination of test reliability and validity, analysis of variance, correlation techniques, sampling theory, and factor analysis.

Reasoning Ability:
--- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and be able to interpret various technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
--- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Inventory Spreadsheets; Accounting software; Order processing; Inventory; Project Management software; Manufacturing software; Developmental software; Database software; Design software; Contact Management.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
--- Carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
