Compensation: Base $42K - OTE $72K | $4,000 Graduation Bonus Launch Your Career as a Future Farmers Insurance Agency Owner The Farmers Protégé Agency Producer Program offers a direct pathway to becoming a Farmers Insurance Agency Owner. This structured, 12-month development program provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and industry-leading training through the University of Farmers. This opportunity is ideal for motivated individuals with strong communication skills, an entrepreneurial mindset, and a desire to build a long-term career in insurance and financial services. Compensation & Benefits: Base salary (DOE) plus commission and performance bonuses $4,000 Graduation Bonus upon completing the program and signing the Agent Appointment Agreement Up to 12 months of structured training and mentorship Learn directly from an established Farmers Agency Owner Access to award-winning training through the University of Farmers Waived capital requirements when launching your own Farmers agency Professional development in sales, operations, customer service, and business management Job Overview: As a Protégé Agency Producer, you will work alongside a successful Farmers Agency Owner to learn how to: Sell and grow a profitable book of business Provide exceptional client service Manage daily agency operations Run a future Farmers Insurance agency This role builds the foundation for your transition into agency ownership. Responsibilities: Support agency operations including customer service, renewals, and policy reviews Prospect, network, and generate new business leads Manage relationships with new and existing clients Use Farmers' systems, sales processes, and compliance standards Participate in ongoing training and skill development Obtain and maintain required insurance licenses (P&C before start; L&H before completion) Maintain professionalism, integrity, and strong customer service Qualifications: Property & Casualty license (required before start date) Life & Health license (required before program completion) Ability to pass a background check Strong communication and interpersonal skills Goal-oriented with entrepreneurial drive Self-motivated and able to work independently Program Path and Bonus: Graduates of the Protégé Program who sign an Agent Appointment Agreement will receive: A $4,000 bonus The opportunity to open a Farmers agency with waived capital requirements Ongoing support and training as a new agency owner About Farmers Insurance: Founded in 1928, Farmers Insurance is a nationwide multiline insurer offering home, auto, life, business, and financial services.
