US Foods, a premier foodservice distributor in America, is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join our dynamic Sales & Business Development team. This role is crucial for building and maintaining relationships with approximately 300,000 restaurants and foodservice operators nationwide. The ideal candidate will be responsible for promoting and selling US Foods’ vast range of products, including high-quality private label items, to help our partners thrive in the competitive foodservice industry. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where strategic sales approaches and customer satisfaction are paramount. Develop and maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end user within assigned territory Collect customer and market insights to inform outreach strategies, increase customer conversions, and generate more leads Identify potential customers and run initiatives to increase sales Manage sales pipeline and coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs Understand and promote company programs Prepare sales reports and forecasts, maintain detailed customer records Negotiate and close agreements with large customers Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements Proven ability in business and sales development Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to negotiate and stay customer-focused The capacity to respond well to pressure and maintain high standard of integrity Knowledge of sales principles and practices Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software Analytical and multitasking skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Professional Sales Certification (e.g., Certified Professional Sales Person (CPSP), Certified Sales Leadership Professional (CSLP)) preferred
